TOP CHARITY Auction 2024 Recognized as the Best Luxury Auction Event in Europe by Luxury Lifestyle Awards

The international Luxury Lifestyle Awards has awarded TOP CHARITY Auction the title of Best Luxury Auction Event in Europe. Organized by the Omenaa Foundation, this distinction places the event alongside global icons such as Chopard, Patek Philippe, BoConcept, Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, Hilton, and Waldorf Astoria. The auction, overseen by EY Poland, is spearheaded by Omenaa Mensah, a philanthropist of Polish-Ghanaian descent from the royal Asante lineage, and her husband, Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost—the largest private company in Poland.

Selected from 1,450 entries, TOP CHARITY Auction emerged as a category-defining winner. This accolade highlights not only the event's unmatched professionalism but also its extraordinary impact in uniting the business world for a noble cause. This year's edition raised a record USD 11.5 million, solidifying its status as the largest charity auction of its kind in Europe.

Omenaa Mensah commented on the recognition

This achievement builds upon the success of 2023, when the auction was named Best Auction Event in Poland by Luxury Lifestyle Awards.

The 2024 auction featured exclusive artworks curated by the OmenaArt Foundation’s Artistic Council, captivating bidders with masterpieces by renowned artists such as Mr. Brainwash, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Wojciech Fangor, and Igor Mitoraj. Mitoraj's Torso alato (1985) fetched the highest price, nearly USD 1.6 million. Professional auction services were provided by Polswiss Art Auction House and EY Poland.

In addition to art, the “Grand Emotions” category offered unique luxury experiences, such as: Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda: an exclusive tailoring experience, including the creation of a personalized gown, Louis Vuitton × Ewa Juszkiewicz Artycapucines Bag: a limited-edition collector’s piece, tennis match and lunch with Rafael Nadal: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for sports enthusiasts.

A record sum was raised for the “Week of Transformations” in the Mӧvenpick Resort Maldives with Ewa Chodakowska. This experience attracted USD 1.2 million from donors eager to support the cause.

Rafał Brzoska, the evening’s host, matched the funds raised by contributing an additional USD 5.5 million to charitable initiatives.

Proceeds from the auction will fund initiatives by the Omenaa Foundation, Rafał Brzoska Foundation, and other philanthropic projects under the Philanthropy Consortium. These funds will support educational programs for children and youth in challenging circumstances in Poland and abroad.
